Judging Authenticity
How to Identify Authentic Healers and Program
Hi everyone, it's Candice Craw Goldman back again from QuantumHealers.com with another What a Great Question.
Dear Candace, there are so many healers and programs available now. How can one determine who or what approach is authentic and real? Such a great question and you're right. There are so many of the healers out there, right? Offering their services in their classes.
So judging the authenticity of energy or quantum healers or energy or quantum healing courses involves a combination of critical thinking, a little bit of research, and some personal discernment. So here are some steps and considerations to help evaluate the authenticity of these practitioners and their training programs. Look for their education and training credentials. Look for formal education or certifications in related fields. Now, while there isn't a universally recognized certification for energy or quantum healing, some might have backgrounds in psychology, holistic health, counseling, or have completed specific courses from reputable institutions or under well-known mentors in the field. They may have hypnotherapy training. They may have some life coaching training, but you can usually check to see what kind of training they've had and who they've had their training with. So you can check to see if they've undergone training with established practitioners or schools. For instance, practitioners of methods like quantum healing hypnosis technique, QHHT, or beyond quantum healing, BQH, might be able to share their certification records. Now, BQH actually numbers our certificates to prevent duplication, so you can even look.
Another thing to look for is professionalism and ethics, client testimonials. Look for these things. Look for things like genuine testimonials. And, you know, they can be very important and very insightful, but do be wary of those that seem overtly polished or numerous without variety. They should be all across the board, right? Different voices, different kind of sentence structure, that kind of thing. And look for detailed evaluations and not general platitudes like, what a great session, or you really healed me, or whatever, right? Look for specifics and details. Now, they're ethical practices. An authentic healer should practice with integrity, clearly stating what they can and cannot do, and not making promises of miracles or telling you you can learn how to bestow miracles upon others. And other more basic responsibilities like respecting client confidentiality. And in my opinion, they should be transparent about their fees. If you've got to poke around their site and look for their fees, either for their classes or their services, man, I don't know. I don't particularly like that myself, but that is up to you.
Methodology and claims. Look to see that their claims are realistic. Be skeptical of those claiming to cure all ailments, especially serious diseases, solely through energy healing. While such miraculous stories do exist, believe me, I have them myself. Most of us are of a mind that all healing, even conventional healing and alternative healing is self-healing. Miracles are only brought to you through your own energy, intention, life contract and work.
So authentic and respected healers often present their work as complementary to traditional medicine, not as a replacement or guaranteed method of having you release whatever it is you want to be releasing. All right. Explanation of methods. They should be able to explain their techniques in a way that makes sense, even if it involves woo-woo concepts like energy healing or quantum fields, etc. They should be able to point to recorded sessions or, yes, testimonials from others, a collection of them, right? And you can also go looking for community or peer recognition or peer review. Look for those acknowledgments from the healing community, from other practitioners who may or may not practice the same method. That's important. Look to see if they participate in other workshops, conferences, or collaborative projects or efforts. This can indicate a level of acceptance within the field rather than some lone wolf, right?
Speaking of, look for community engagement. Authentic healers often engage with the community or engage with their social media followers, sharing knowledge and participating in discussions or contributing to the field's literature, writing articles, sharing, offering things. Be very wary of practitioners who only want to sell sessions or only want to sell classes and seem to never engage with other heels or converse about ordinary day-to-day activities. If they always, always seem to be selling something, that's a red flag in my book. And this can indicate an imbalance, an overemphasis upon sales alone.
Personal experience and intuition, so trust your first impressions no matter what. Trust your gut feeling. If something feels off, too good to be true, walk away.
[5:58] Scientific and critical thinking in an evidence-based approach. Now look, while energy, healing, quantum healing often step beyond conventional science, An authentic approach might acknowledge the limitations of the practice in terms of validation. It's true. Validation is tough in this field. It is out there, but it's hard to find. And even validation of scientific tests and results are hard to come up with and to share. So be cautious of those that claim their methods are scientifically proven without credible studies to back it up or credible evidence to back it up, at least sometimes, especially if they have a high price for their method, their sessions, or their courses.
And beware of practitioners who misuse or misunderstand scientific terms to lend credibility to their practice. Authentic healers should be open about the speculative or philosophical nature of this work. Now, for me, if they tell you they know everything there is to know out there about healing, you could be pretty sure they know very little. Because it's true. The more I'm doing this work, the more I do this work, the more I know there is so much more to learn and there is so much I don't know. And yet I'm willing to give my entire heart and my entire attention to both my students and my clients.
Practical steps in research. You can use the internet to look up the healer, their methods, and any controversies or accolades. Platforms like Google X and specialized healing forums can provide insights. And go ahead and ask a lot of questions before committing to sessions or courses. You can ask more about their background, ask how they practice, what they consider success, how do they measure or evaluate healing.
Community feedback is pretty important too. You can check forums, social media groups, or dedicated sites like quantumhealers.com for community feedback on practitioners. Does your practitioner have plenty of reviews or only one or two? If you're interested in connecting with a practitioner who only has a couple reviews, ask for more references or look for somebody who has taken the time to get some more reviews so that you can know more about them. All right. Having an open mind but asking lots of questions doing some research and trusting your gut can help you discern the authenticity of an energy or quantum healer for a session or for rolling in one of their classes, thanks for the cue and we'll have more A's to your cues when you send them all in and remember if you're a service to others practitioner any kind, any kind at all you're welcome to join our guru free community at quantumhealers.com, the world's largest and leading directory and support forum for quantum and energy healers.
